The mod is brutal though, and too tough on infamous IMO.Today, we have officially opened our site as well. Lastly, enemy jeeps can and will fight each other and outposts, making you feel like you're in an actual warzone and not just the ONE guy that everyone attacks on sight. This results in some ridiculous situations like AI trying to kill you with a flamethrower from far away, but also more dangerous ones where snipers use dart rifles that can pretty much one shot you unless you dispose of them prematurely. Other small changes in the arsenal make a big difference: namely, you can carry the flare gun in the machete slot which means you'll pretty much always have it on you, and the enemy weapon pickups always go to the special slot, no matter the weapon.Īpart from that my favorite changes are about enemies - first of all, they can now use ANY weapon. Realmod is interesting because it messes with the weapon slot system a bit - takes some time to get used to but is for the most part more logical than the vanilla one and allows for more interesting loadouts.
As much as I love the game, it's AI is terribly flawed in terms of discovering your position when it really shouldn't be able to. When you destroy the objective a few more spawn, so the best idea is to have an escape plan. On Infamous, i perch myself atop the rocks overlooking the area, bring a sniper (M1903) and take out any guards i can.starting with the snipers on top of the building. Take the railroad in the NW for instance.on easy or normal you can just rambo your way through. It makes you tale stock of the strategic possibilities each location has to offer.
